Yolanda RAMIREZ VILLACORTA

Biography

Anthropologist with academic training in Sociology, Amazonian Studies, Audiovisual Pedagogy, Gender, and Conservation.

Extensive experience in: socioeconomic and cultural research of rural and indigenous populations (Andean and Amazonian) and marginalized urban populations; in the systematization of development initiatives and projects; in the formulation, planning, organization, execution, and evaluation of projects with a gender and intercultural focus; with practical experience leading teams of professionals and technicians in dry forest management in the northern biosphere reserve of Peru and in the management of communal forests in indigenous communities in the Peruvian Amazon.

With expertise in university teaching and in the organization and conduct of academic events and participatory workshops.
