Accreditation

Accreditation for Members’ Assembly is now open

The online Accreditation system for the Members’ Assembly of the IUCN World Conservation Congress, from 9-15 October 2025, is now open.

IUCN Members and recognised National/Regional/Interregional Committees delegations wishing to exercise their voting and/or speaking rights onsite or remotely during the Members’ Assembly, or by proxy, must accredit via the online Accreditation system.

Please read the Guidelines on Accreditation for the IUCN Members’ Assembly, before starting the Accreditation process. The Guidelines explain the Members’ Assembly new online accreditation system, providing detailed information on the requirements and how to use the different features.

Observers with the right to speak at the Members’ Assembly

Organisations with formal working relationships with IUCN as of 31 July 2025 may declare their interest in attending the IUCN Conservation Congress as observers by 31 August 2025.

The Council will review each request and decide on acceptance on a case-by case basis.

If accepted by the Council, the Secretariat will provide access to the electronic system, enabling those observers to exercise their right to speak at the World Congress, provided they complete the accreditation process.
