Sung-Ryong KANG

I am a researcher working at the National Institute of Ecology in the Republic of Korea. I am currently conducting assessments for the detailed target indicators of the Republic of Korea's 5th National Biodiversity Strategy, linked to the CBD GBF. These include the Red List of Ecosystems, key biodiversity areas, Natural Ecosystem Types, Species Protection Index, Bioclimatic Ecosystem Resilience Index, and ProtConn. Additionally, I am involved in the development of indicators for urban Nature-based Solutions in Korea and the IUCN UNI (Urban Nature Index) assessment of local governments in the Republic of Korea.
