Saud ABDULAZIZ AL MUHAIDIB

Biography

Saud Al-Muhaideb is the Managing Director of the Board of Tilad Business Holding, a pioneering Saudi group headquartered in Riyadh that integrates environmental consultancy, veterinary sciences, and marine services in direct support of the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030 sustainability agenda. A graduate of King Saud University, Saud has strategically positioned Tilad as both a national and regional leader in the fields of nature conservation, protected-area management, migratory bird protection, wildlife health, and large-scale ecosystem restoration. Under his leadership, Tilad has expanded its scope of services to include advanced veterinary hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and mobile clinics that serve both domestic animals and wildlife, as well as marine and coastal programs that range from habitat creation and aquaculture to hydrographic surveys and GIS-driven environmental monitoring.

Recognized for his forward-looking leadership, Saud has forged strong strategic partnerships with world-leading institutions, most notably the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Through its Regional Office for West Asia, Tilad has become a key collaborator on projects that determine grazing capacity across Saudi rangelands, restore degraded drylands, and design innovative rainwater harvesting interventions that strengthen vegetation cover, improve biodiversity resilience, and align with the Kingdom’s climate adaptation priorities. Tilad’s engagement has also extended to the international stage, with its active participation in COP28 programming, and it is prominently featured in the forthcoming IUCN World Conservation Congress 2025, in coalition with the National Center for Vegetation Cover (NCVC), highlighting the central role of Saudi Arabia’s private sector in global conservation efforts.

Saud’s leadership style is anchored in building strong national alliances, exemplified through Tilad’s close collaboration with the National Center for Wildlife (NCW) on programs that safeguard biodiversity, strengthen wildlife health, and align with global best practices in conservation. He regularly chairs Tilad’s strategic meetings, guiding the company toward innovation, sustainability, and regional impact, while ensuring that the organization’s vision resonates with Saudi Arabia’s transformative environmental policies. Through his dynamic leadership, Saud Al-Muhaideb has turned Tilad into more than a consultancy—it is now a trusted national partner and a regional reference point for innovative environmental solutions, bridging science, policy, and practice. His work reflects a deep commitment to safeguarding ecosystems, expanding vegetation cover, and protecting wildlife, thereby advancing the Kingdom’s ecological future while contributing to the broader international environmental agenda.
