Rachel CLAUSING

Biography

Rachel Clausing is the Special Advisor to the Vice President and the Head of Initiatives at the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. A marine scientist by training, she earned her doctorate from the University of California Los Angeles in 2014 and began her career at the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Marine Laboratories, working at the intersection of science, policy, and capacity building. She later held Fulbright and Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowships at the University of Genoa, focusing on the valuation of coastal ecosystem services. With 20 years of experience in science, policy, and international collaboration, she now leads initiatives that unite sectors and actors to advance sustainable management and conservation of vulnerable ecosystems and species.
