Nouf AlQadi

Biography

Nouf AlQadi is an environmental consultant and PhD researcher in Ecology and Environmental Science whose work bridges applied research and conservation practice. Her doctoral research focuses on shorebird ecology in the Arabian Gulf, with a case study on the Crab Plover, examining population dynamics, breeding behavior, and the impacts of climate change on coastal ecosystems. Nouf has extensive experience in biodiversity monitoring and habitat assessment, and her approach integrates ecological science with innovative conservation tools, including remote sensing and community-based stewardship.

Beyond research, Nouf is committed to public engagement and environmental education. As a Youth Ambassador at The Climate Tribe, she empowers young people and communities to participate in climate action and biodiversity conservation. She is passionate about advancing inclusive, science-driven solutions that safeguard both nature and society in the UAE and the wider region.
