Biography
A farmer’s son and Doctor of Design from Harvard, Yu is a professor and dean of Peking University College of Architecture and Landscape, and founded Turenscape and the Landscape Architecture Frontiers journal. His work spans more than 1,000 projects across 250 cities. Yu’s contributions have earned him the highest honors in the field, including the Oberlander Prize, Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe Award, Cooper Hewitt National Design Award, RAIC International prize, and he is an elected member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
