Joanna WOLSTENHOLME

Joanna is a Senior Programme Officer in the Nature Economy team at the UN Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC). Her work focuses on finance for nature, looking at both financing green and greening finance. Joanna has led projects working with a range of financial institutions - from impact funds, to banks and central banks. 

Most recently, she has been looking at how to mobilise more private investment in Nature-based Solutions, with the NetworkNature project. Joanna has also been analysing how governments and financial institutions can use NBSAPs to mobilise more private finance for biodiversity, aligned with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
