Biography
Janaina Torres Carreira holds a DVM (2005), MSc (2008), and PhD (2012) in Animal Reproduction from São Paulo State University (UNESP), Brazil, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in sperm nuclear organization at Université Clermont-Auvergne, France (2015). She has taught Animal Reproduction, Obstetrics, and Veterinary Physiology for 9 years at Brazilian universities and, since 2019, has been working as Deputy Head of Research in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Her research focuses on reproductive physiology, with expertise in applied reproductive biotechnologies, fertility, gamete quality, genetics, and offspring fitness.
