Heliabel BOMSTEIN

Biography

Héliabel Bomstein is the Nature Finance and Partnerships Lead for the Sango Nature Project, a pioneering 60,000-hectare wildlife conservancy in southeastern Zimbabwe. She is currently driving the evolution of its business model, exploring innovative conservation finance solutions such as biodiversity credits and strategic partnerships.

With a background in biology and territorial governance, Héliabel brings over a decade of experience in biodiversity conservation and ecological restoration, at the nexus of environmental, social, and economic challenges. She has worked both in the field  —particularly on human-wildlife coexistence in Italy and Kenya —, with public institutions and for private-sector actors, notably founding the biodiversity expertise at the French consultancy UTOPIES.
