Florence CLAP

Biography

Ecologist, passionate naturalist and graduate in environmental law. Manage since 2008 programs on biodiversity policies and education and communication. Her main mission is to work for mainstreaming biodiversity into local and national policies, and engage companies, businesses and local authorities for biodiversity. Florence also leads the commission on environmental law and policies. Florence Clap began her career as a liberal profession in the fields of the management of protected areas and the assessment of public and territorial policies. She then chose to bring her expertise to the Conservatory of Natural Areas of Occitanie for a better knowledge of biodiversity inventories before working for UICN in France.
