Biography
Dr. Daniela Cajiao is a post-doctoral researcher. Her research has focused on Antarctic tourism, with a particular emphasis on analyzing the environmental and social dimensions of this activity. Complementary research interests revolve around tourism management, governance, and decision-making processes within the Antarctic Treaty System. In 2019, she became the joint-first recipient of the IAATO- COMNAP Fellowship. Currently, she is a member of the Scientific Committee for Antarctic Research (SCAR), Humanities and Social Sciences Expert Group (SC-HASS), and co-lead of the Antarctic Tourism Action Group (Ant-TAG).
