Anouska KINAHAN

Biography

Anouska is the coordinator for the Global Partnership on Ecological Connectivity, which was launched at COP 14 of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS).  The aim of this Partnership is to maintain, restore and enhance ecological connectivity across the globe. 

Anouska holds a PhD and 18 years practical experience in protecting nature with people, for people, to build resilience to the ongoing global biodiversity and climate crisis. She has worked with an international NGO and as an independent consultant supporting government, non-government, intergovernmental agencies and local communities, in effective conservation solutions for the protection of terrestrial and marine biodiversity across four continents. She has a diverse multidisciplinary background, with a special focus on protected and conserved areas and is experienced in planning, policy, stakeholder engagement, business and sustainable financing, and monitoring and evaluation. She has significant experience facilitating and coordinating stakeholder engagement across a variety of stakeholder groups in different regions.
