Session Description
This event explores Earth-centered legal innovations to protect and restore coral reefs. A coalition of groups recently released "A Voice for Coral Reef Ecosystems Through the Rights of Nature and Ecocentric Law," a three-part toolkit that equips policymakers, advocates, and legal professionals with bold legal strategies to live in harmony with coral reefs. The session will introduce new approaches that give coral reefs a voice in the legal system and empower communities to defend them in court and policy. Participants are invited to join an interactive discussion on applying these strategies and overcoming challenges.Organised by
