Session Description

This panel will explore an integrated approach to marine conservation and biodiversity protection, bridging science, policy, education, and economics. Speakers will examine how scientific research informs effective policy, how ocean literacy fosters public engagement, and how innovative economic models support a sustainable “blue economy.” By combining these dimensions, the discussion will highlight pathways to scale up conservation action and safeguard marine ecosystems for the long term.
