In a world first, in 2024, Tehanu proved how gorillas, through their digital representations, could make payments in our economy based on simple AI-inferred interests. Join this session, presented as if it is the year 2100, to discover how digital platforms, AI, and legal instruments facilitate interspecies equity.
Session Description
The speaker will present a future with interspecies equity - a fairer distribution of resources, opportunities, and considerations between humans and nonhuman species, particularly in economic and monetary systems. How the future global economy achieves interspecies equity will be based on the real-life rapid thought-experiment to innovation cycle culminating with the proof-of-concept transaction through the Tehanu platform completed by Interspecies Money in 2024. The speaker will highlight what was learned regarding establishing digital representation and digital wallets for diverse species and how society uses propriety AI to infer accurate and automated interpretations of nonhuman species' needs and interests. Further to the technological advancements, affirmation of and protection of vulnerable peoples and the shift to new legal norms to advance the rights of other species to hold equity can ensure wealth and resources are held by other species benefiting all life on Earth.Organised by
