“Our IUCN World Conservation Congress 2025 partners share the vision of a world where development and conservation work together,” said Marc Magaud, IUCN Congress Director. “Their support will help ensure that the IUCN Congress convenes critical dialogue while also showcasing how the private sector can contribute to conservation action.”
Each partner plays a role in making this Congress a practical example of collaboration for nature-positive outcomes:
- First Abu Dhabi Bank, the Congress’s Principal Partner, is leading regional finance in sustainability as the first financial institution in the Middle East to issue blue bonds, supporting the protection of oceans and water resources.
- Aldar, one of the UAE’s leading real estate developers, is making significant contributions to sustainable urban design. Aldar will also invite students from its communities and designers to participate in capacity-building sessions organised by the IUCN Academy during the Congress.
- Ant Group, a global leader in digital finance and technology, will power the Congress App and Virtual Platform. This tool will help participants follow more than 1,500 sessions and will also feature gamification, allowing attendees to contribute collectively to Ant Forest.
- Majid Al Futtaim will contribute towards the production of reusable metal water bottles and supply air-to-water technology in the venue, enabling waste-reduction measures and supporting the Congress Sustainability Policy.
- Emirates Foundation will support the Youth Summit and Youth Pavilion, ensuring that young voices and ideas are at the heart of global conservation dialogue at the Congress.
- Emirates Global Aluminium has a long history of collaboration with IUCN Members in the region. Its commitments include advancing circularity models while integrating biodiversity protection and climate responsibility.
- AW Rostamani / Chery UAE will provide low-emission vehicles to transport delegates and guests.
- Nzatu Coffee will operate six kiosks onsite, serving coffee sourced ethically from smallholders, supporting community empowerment and regenerative agriculture.
