Kazuhiko Kamada

Biography

Mr. Kazuhiko Kamada is Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of Oji Holdings Corporation, the leading pulp and paper manufacturing group in Japan with a global presence.

After joining Marubeni Corporation in 1983, he spent over three decades advancing in roles related to the forest products businesses.

In 2013, he joined Oji Group. Initially he was appointed General Manager of the Business Strategic Section and Senior Manager of the International Trade Department at Oji Forest & Products Co., Ltd. In 2014, he was promoted to President Director of the same company, contributing to its global expansion and operational reforms.

He joined the executive team of Oji Holdings Corporation in 2015, as Corporate Officer and later as Director of the Board and Executive Officer. In 2019, he was appointed President and Director of CENIBRA, a major plantation and pulp producer in Brazil and a key part of Oji Group’s international operations. Under his leadership, CENIBRA strengthened its competitiveness in the global pulp market.

Returning to Japan in 2023, he was appointed Senior Executive Officer of Oji Holdings. Since then, he has concurrently held key leadership roles as President of Oji Management Office Inc., the core company responsible for group-wide strategy implementation and corporate governance support.

In April 2025, he was promoted to his current role as Executive Vice President and CSO of Oji Holdings Corporation. In the same month, he also assumed the position of Vice Chairman of the Keidanren Nature Conservation Council (KNCC).
With deep expertise in international trade, forest resources, and strategic management, he plays a central role in shaping Oji Group’s long-term strategy, sustainability initiatives, and global business development.
