Biography
Eric Terena is an Indigenous artist and activist from the Pantanal (Mato Grosso do Sul) who uses music as a tool of resistance. In his project Origins, he combines ancestral chants with electronic beats, celebrating the knowledge and strength of Indigenous Peoples. Co-founder of Mídia Indígena, Eric Terena holds a degree in journalism and works to amplify Indigenous voices on social media, highlighting their fundamental role in protecting nature. His work also extends to Youth4Climate, where he collaborates with young people from around the world to promote environmental awareness and reverse the impacts of climate change.
