Dileri BERDEJA

Biography

Dileri Berdeja is a Mexican conservation scientist specializing in wildlife conservation, invasive species management, and biodiversity protection. She is the founder of Berde Environmental, a consultancy that supports NGOs, governments, and businesses with science-based strategies for sustainability and biodiversity. With more than six years of international experience in Mexico, Canada, South Africa, and the United States, she has contributed to projects on ecosystem restoration, freshwater diversity, and global invasive species management. Dileri is actively engaged in international conservation efforts, including participation in global biodiversity forums such as COP15 and COP16. In September 2025, she will begin a Master of Science in Forestry at the University of British Columbia, focusing her research on conservation in Kruger National Park, South Africa.
