She is a Sustainable Development Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (Tec de Monterrey) and is a member of Cohort 24 of the Leadership for Environment and Development Program (LEAD) at El Colegio de México (COLMEX). Her professional background includes collaboration with the Animal Karma Foundation on ecosystem and wildlife conservation initiatives, as well as an internship at the Mexican Civil Council for Sustainable Forestry (CCMSS), where she contributed to the design and implementation of payment-for-environmental-services mechanisms and projects for water resource management in partnership with the Mexican Institute of Water Technology (IMTA) and the National Water Commission (CONAGUA). She also gained experience in the private sector through her work at Synelmex, S.A. de C.V., supporting projects on energy efficiency and photovoltaic solutions.
She currently serves as General Director of FAUNAM, A.C., where she leads programs focused on biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. Her work emphasizes strengthening local governance, promoting gender equity, and fostering economic and social well-being in rural communities, thereby advancing integrated approaches to environmental management.
