PAUL SAING'EU

Biography

Paul Saing’eu Regional Coordinator for East Africa and Horn of Africa Based in Tanzania. Paul Saing’eu is a Maasai pastoralist from Ngorongoro District in northern Tanzania. He is a co-founder of Wings of Mercy Psychological Support Organization (WMPSO) and a leader in advancing human rights and land rights and defending the territories of life of Indigenous Peoples and local communities. WMPSO collaborates with environmental and social justice organizations like Ujamaa Community Resource Team (UCRT). As a pastoralist, he brings a unique perspective to the ICCA Consortium’s Secretariat. Paul has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Daystar University and an MBA in Strategic Human Resource Management from the University of Arusha. He is also a 2017 Mandela Washington Fellow, USA. Paul finds joy in the simple pleasures of village life, tending to his family’s livestock, nurturing trees and water sources, and seeking solace in the serene beauty of the mountains and hills across the Serengeti.
