Biography
Specialist in protected area planning and management, with over 20 years of experience applying the principles of the Ecosystem Approach. He has managed several protected areas in Costa Rica and, since 2000, has focused on strengthening national and sub-national conservation systems across Latin America through technical support, capacity building, and the promotion of conservation policies. Strong knowledge of institutional, technical, and operational frameworks in Central and South America.
