Andréanne Martel is a passionate leader with over 15 years of experience managing complex partnerships in Canada and internationally. She is the Director of the ReSea project, an ambitious initiative implemented by Mission inclusion, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and several feminist organizations. The project aims to strengthen the resilience of coastal communities—particularly women and marginalized groups—in the face of climate change.
She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the Université du Québec à Montréal and has worked with major coalitions of international cooperation organizations in Canada, including Cooperation Canada and the Provincial and Regional Councils for International Cooperation Coordination Network (RCC). For more than 15 years, Andréanne has been committed to knowledge mobilization and building stronger links between academia and practice. She works to support both partnership-based research and community-led research on issues at the intersection of key themes in international solidarity, including climate, women’s rights, decolonization, and community-driven initiatives.
