Michael BALTZER

Biography

Michael is the founder and Executive Director of the SHOAL initiative for the conservation of freshwater species. Michael has over 30 years of leading large scale ambitious conservation programmes in Europe, Asia and Africa. SHOAL is an international partnership aimed to end the extinction of freshwater species particularly those, such as freshwater fishes that have been largely overlooked by conservation efforts until now.
