Siobhan MCQUAID

Siobhan McQuaid, PhD, is Associate Director of Innovation in the Centre for Social Innovation in Trinity Business School, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. She manages a portfolio of 'Working with Nature' research and innovation initiatives bringing together Irish and international collaborators from industry, science, government and communities.  Siobhan is the Principal Investigator of GoNaturePositive! a Horizon Europe research and innovation action coordinated by Trinity College Dublin. GoNaturePositive! brings corporates and entrepreneurs together with environmental and community leaders to co-create inclusive approaches to a nature-positive economy.
Siobhan is also the co-founder and director of Horizon Nua, a not-for-profit foundation accelerating just transition towards a nature-positive economy and manager of the Connecting Nature Enterprise Platform.
A lead author and advocate for nature-based entrepreneurship, Siobhan contributes to EC Taskforces and multiple EU initiatives on the vital role of nature-based enterprises delivering nature-based solutions as part of the just transition to an equitable, carbon neutral and nature-positive economy.
