Damien MITTEMPERGHER

Biography

Damien Mittempergher is an economist passionate about building stronger links between nature and the economy. At IUCN, he supports various stakeholders to better account for natural capital, using international framework such as the UN’s System of Environmental-Economic Accounting: Ecosystem Accounting. 

His work sheds light on how economies depend on healthy ecosystems, helps identify harmful subsidies, and contributes to policies that place nature at the heart of decision-making.
