I am honored to be the official candidate nominated by the Jordanian National Committee for the position of Regional Councillor for West Asia. With over 27 years of experience in environmental management, I have led transformative projects across Jordan and the West Asia region, turning fragile drylands into living showcases of nature-based solutions in action. My work spans national institutions and global partnerships, including IUCN, the World Bank, IFAD, and WFP, where I have contributed to the design and implementation of programs that restore ecosystems, enhance rural livelihoods, and strengthen long-term climate resilience.
