Why attend

Accelerating national progress towards Nature Positive: Introducing ‘NATURE Impacts’ – a new initiative to track, prioritise, and strengthen action for the Global Biodiversity Framework’s 2030 goals. Join us to find out more!

Session Description

This session will introduce 'NATURE Impacts', a forward-looking initiative being developed by the University of Oxford in collaboration with WWF-UK. The project is designed to identify high-impact opportunities for nations to help halt and reverse global nature loss by 2030. Building on existing tracking initiatives, 'NATURE Impacts' will highlight future priorities and promote evidence-based, bottom-up strategies. During the session, participants will hear about the initiative, share feedback, and help shape its development. The work complements the Nature Positive Initiative by identifying ambition and implementation gaps, promoting cross-sector alignment, and supporting inclusive, effective approaches to accelerate progress towards global biodiversity goals.
