Dodo MOKE

Dodo Moke is an economist with a rich background in conservation and community development. His professional journey began as a consultant, where he managed a crucial boat project in the Maringa-Lopori-Wamba Landscape of the Congo-Kinshasa. The project's primary goal was to facilitate the evacuation of agricultural goods through strategic land-use plans. This experience sparked his interest in conservation, leading him to serve as a conservation enterprise assistant and eventually to join the AWF Conservation Leadership Management Training Program.

Following his training, Dodo became a Program Officer for AWF in Central Africa, a role that honed his skills in field-based project implementation over more than 14 years. In his current position as Senior Social Safeguards Officer, he is at the forefront of implementing AWF’s rights-based approach to conservation. To deepen his expertise in this area, Dodo earned a master’s degree in governance and human Rights, which has been instrumental in his work to align conservation efforts with human rights principles.
