David BOOKLESS

Biography

Rev Dr Dave Bookless has worked for 25+ years in the field of faith-based wildlife conservation. He co-founded A Rocha UK, has a PhD from the University of Cambridge on the interface of wildlife conservation and biblical theology (available here), and has written and contributed to numerous books including Planetwise (2008), Making a World of Difference (2023), both translated into multiple languages, and 'The Bible and Wildlife Conservation' in The Oxford Handbook to the Bible and Ecology (2022). His current role as Head of Theology for A Rocha International includes advising global conservation bodies (including WWF) and Christian organisations (including the Lausanne Movement and the Church of England) on issues concerning theology and environment.
