Why attend

In this session, we explore how PANORAMA advances evidence-based learning through the 5-step approach of the Conservation Learning Initiative, developed by Foundations of Success and Conservation Evidence. Together, we will craft learning questions, assess evidence, and draw insights. Learn how PANORAMA fosters collaboration, bridges knowledge gaps, and scales conservation success.

Session Description

Collaborative learning that combines practitioner knowledge with diverse evidence enhances conservation impact and informs decision-making. This session introduces the Conservation Learning Initiative’s 5-step approach - developed by Foundations of Success (FOS) and Conservation Evidence - which guides participants through defining learning topics, formulating questions and assumptions, gathering and assessing evidence, and drawing actionable conclusions.

Through hands-on exercises, attendees will apply the approach to real conservation challenges while exploring how PANORAMA engages its global community to facilitate collaborative learning, scale successful solutions, and bridge knowledge gaps. The session will showcase how structured learning groups inspire peer exchange, strengthen conservation strategies and drive impact worldwide.

Join us to explore how evidence-based learning, combined with PANORAMA’s practitioner-driven solutions, can enhance conservation effectiveness and accelerate the implementation of the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF).
