DANIEL RODRÍGUEZ

Biography

Environmental Engineer and Natural Risk Management specialist with a Master's in Interdisciplinary Studies in
Environmental Economic and Social Sustainability (Industrial and Urban Ecology). Currently working on climate change
issues IUCN in Adaptation based in ecosystem, and previously at FAO, specifically in the development and formulation of
the Second Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) for the human settlements sector.Also, I was part of the PRORED
Project team, focusing on Disaster Risk Management for the World Food Programme.As Director and Founder of Terrazas
Productivas, an initiative aimed at strengthening urban agri-food systems. Additionally, I am a social activist and volunteer
with the Community Government of the Santa Clara de San Millán Commune. I was awarded the SENESCYT scholarship
for my master's studies in 2015 and won the Ensamble Scholarship Program in 2016.
