Biography
With more than ten years of experience in marine conservation and environmental management along the Ecuadorian coast, Saily Julieth Hernández Quinde, Business Development Engineer and Environmental Protection Technologist, has established herself as a defender of marine ecosystems. As a Protected Areas Administrator, she leads species conservation plans and programs, integrating technical knowledge with community wisdom. Her work promotes women’s participation in decision-making and fosters marine sustainability. The daughter of islanders, she maintains a deep connection with the ocean, which strengthens her commitment to equity and environmental conservation.
