From ministerial to legal perspectives, this event will bring a comprehensive overview of where things stand with regard to deep seabed mining issues, from the adoption of resolution 122 in Marseille (September 2021) to where thing stand today.

Resolution 122 calling for a moratorium on deep seabed mining activities has been adopted at the Marseille WCC in 2021. This event will take stock on developments that happened since then, at the International Sebaed Authority (ISA) and beyond, to see whether Resolution 122 still stand.
