Pourquoi participer

Experience the launch of the Global Child Biodiversity Declaration, led by child delegates worldwide. Through poetry, music, dialogue, and interactive commitments, participants will engage directly with young voices, gain fresh perspectives on biodiversity priorities, and leave inspired with concrete action.

Description de la séance

This session will launch the Global Child Biodiversity Declaration, presented by child delegates from each continent. The session begins with youth poetry and an Indigenous song, followed by the official presentation of the Declaration. A “reverse panel” will feature Canadian and international conservation leaders asking child delegates questions, and facilitating live polls to prioritize key Declaration actions. After the discussions, attendees will make personal biodiversity commitments on plantable seed cards, creating a tactile takeaway that grows beyond the Congress. Designed for engagement, reflection, and action, this session combines global cooperation, interactive tools, and storytelling to ensure child perspectives are meaningfully embedded in biodiversity education and governance.
