ARGHADEEP SAHA

Arghadeep is the Head of Policy at Good Food Institute India, India’s leading think tank and convening body on alternative proteins. He provides strategic
oversight and leadership to the policy and regulatory team’s work in building a manufacturing ecosystem for alternative proteins and its ancillary industries, promoting public R&D, building a conducive regulatory environment, and creating pathways for bilateral and multilateral collaborations.
He brings with him a decade of experience in leading and supporting multi-stakeholder initiatives on sustainable agriculture, food security, rural livelihoods, and governance. Arghadeep has an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Calcutta and a Master’s in Development and Public Policy from Azim Premji University.
