Uxue URTEAGA RUIZ DE VINASPRE

Biographie

Uxue Urteaga Ruiz de Viñaspre is a Youth and Partnerships Analyst at the Global Environment Facility, working within the Partnerships Team. She focuses on advancing youth engagement and fostering strategic partnerships to enhance the impact of GEF policies, programs, and operations. Her work includes supporting gender integration, strengthening locally led and inclusive approaches, and collaborating with governments, international organizations, civil society, and youth networks to drive environmental action.

Before joining the GEF, Uxue worked at the Multilateral Department of the Embassy of Spain in Washington, DC, where she supported the management and monitoring of Spanish Trust Funds at International Financial Institutions and provided analysis and reporting for the Spanish government. Uxue holds a master’s degree in Environmental Law.
