Chris Dickinson is a Senior Specialist in Climate Change (Adaptation) at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), bringing extensive expertise from his previous role as a Senior Specialist and Lead in Ecosystems Management at the Green Climate Fund (GCF). At ADB, he has been Co-Lead for the development of ADB's Glacier to Farms Program in Central West Asia and has provided support to the Nature Solution Finance Hub.
At GCF, he was instrumental in developing innovative strategies and impactful projects focused on ecosystems and climate change, collaborating with accredited entities to create climate investment programs and guiding several projects to successful board approval.
With over 25 years of experience across Asia and Africa, Chris has built a career dedicated to addressing pressing environmental challenges. His diverse background includes roles with UNDP, Fauna and Flora International, SNV, and the World Wildlife Fund, as well as a strategic position as Thematic Head of Sustainable Landscapes at the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI).
A UK national, Chris holds a PhD in Tropical Forest Ecology from the University of Birmingham and an MSc in Ecology from the University of Aberdeen.
