This thematic session, co-organized by Hustai National Park, highlights the work of the Przewalski’s Horse Conservation Alliance, a collaborative platform advancing the protection of Equus ferus przewalskii. The discussion will present ongoing conservation measures, including reintroduction programmes, population monitoring, and habitat management to sustain viable wild populations in Mongolia. Experts from partner organizations will share insights on challenges, successes, and the importance of international cooperation in preserving this unique species. The event aims to strengthen partnerships, share knowledge, and reaffirm collective commitment to safeguarding the Przewalski’s horse as a symbol of Mongolia’s natural heritage and global conservation success.
