This event aims to present various strategies developed by IUCN Members to regulate wildlife trade.
Descripción de la sesión
In alignment with the IUCN’s Nature 2030 agenda, this proposed event seeks to address the pressing issue of wildlife trafficking, a significant threat to biodiversity and ecological balance.Distinguished speakers will present concrete actions undertaken across key locations: in poaching hotspots, along trafficking routes, and within facilities housing rescued wildlife. By highlighting innovative scientific approaches and legal frameworks to combat this issue, the event contributes directly to the overarching goal of harmonizing human activity with the natural world.
