My name is Ubayd Gulamadshoev, and I was born and raised in Tajikistan.
In 2008, I received a Master’s degree in Developing Policy and Management from the University of Bradford in the UK. Since then, I have been working as the Programme Director for Fauna&Flora Cambridge in Tajikistan.
For more than 17 years, Fauna&Flora Tajikistan, with the constant support of our colleagues from Fauna&Flora Cambridge, has been implementing small and medium sized conservation projects aimed at protecting rare and threatened species across the country.
As Country Director, I am responsible for coordinating project implementation with local partners in our project sites, ensuring smooth programme operations with the support of a small, dedicated team, managing project finances, and maintaining communication with government authorities.
