Jovana DRAGIC MAY

Biografía

Jovana Dragic May is a Conservation Action Project Officer at IUCN ECARO, where she contributes to advancing the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans and the implementation of the IUCN Green List in Albania. Currently, she supports efforts in establishing management structures for Vjosa Wild River National Park, Europe’s first wild-river national park. Previously, she served at WWF Adria as one of the coordinators of regional projects to enhance protected area governance, sustainability, and environmental education. She holds an MSc in Ecology and Environmental Protection from the University of Belgrade and has completed additional training in environmental education at Cornell University. Passionate about nature conservation, Jovana collaborates with governments, protected areas, and local stakeholders to strengthen management practices and support long-term sustainability of natural resources.
