Jordan STEWARD

Jordan Steward is a Senior Communications Lead, Conservation, at Ai2 (the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence). He oversees communications for EarthRanger, a platform supporting more than 800 protected areas worldwide, and Skylight, which provides real-time maritime intelligence to combat illegal fishing and strengthen ocean protection. Prior to Ai2, Jordan worked at Vulcan, where his career ranged from managing digital communications for philanthropist, and Microsoft co-founder Paul G. Allen to leading initiatives across philanthropy, art, sports, and global crises. His work spanned efforts such as the Allen Coral Atlas, Global FinPrint (the world’s first shark census), support for the Seattle Seahawks and Portland Trail Blazers, and emergency responses, including the 2014–2016 Ebola outbreak. Earlier in his career, Jordan worked in television news at CBS and NBC. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota.
