Descripción de la sesión

Asia’s rapid economic growth offers unprecedented opportunities for philanthropy to shape a sustainable future. Yet, its potential to address biodiversity loss and climate challenges remains under-realised. This roundtable, hosted by IUCN Asia at the World Conservation Congress, convenes philanthropic leaders, IUCN Members, and conservation practitioners for an engaging dialogue on catalysing Asian philanthropy for nature and people. Through a moderated discussion and interactive exchanges, participants will explore motivations, challenges, and innovative strategies for impactful giving. The session aims to identify collaboration opportunities within IUCN’s regional network and contribute an Asian perspective to the global conservation philanthropy agenda. The event concludes with a relaxed networking session over snacks and drinks—an opportunity to build meaningful connections and partnerships.
