Descripción de la sesión

In this session, the participants will explore the practical aspects of intergenerational dialogue and youth engagement in nature conservation during and after war, armed conflict, and occupation. We will move beyond definitions to understand what these concepts truly mean on the ground, drawing on examples from different sectors, including but not limited to research, protected area management, and NGO-led initiatives. Participants will be encouraged to share insights on the benefits of bridging generations and to discuss how the synergy between youth leadership and the wisdom of experienced practitioners can foster more resilient conservation outcomes in fragile conflict and post-conflict environments.
