The session will highlight the critical importance of Holistic Landscape Management and Restoration and its role in bridging conservation, restoration, and regenerative agriculture. It will provide insights into practical applications, key barriers, and opportunities for global upscaling, with special attention for developments in relation to landscape finance, and including successful examples, as part of a new thinking on green infrastructure. As this is an integrated approach that aims to deliver inspirational, social, natural, and economic returns it links to all five congress themes: scaling up, climate adaptation, local leadership innovation and nature positive economies. The event will feature a dynamic and interactive format, with a brief introduction by Commonland followed by a high-level panel discussion with participants from The Nature Conservancy, World Business Council for Sustainable Development and Wetlands International.
