Por qué asistir

Discover how EU Overseas territories are driving global biodiversity action. Through an immersive, interactive map and real stories from the field, this session shows how fragmented efforts connect into a global network, linked to IUCN Green List standards and shaping the future of conservation.

Descripción de la sesión

EU Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs) and outermost regions (ORs) are biodiversity hotspots yet often underrepresented on the global stage. This session invites participants to explore the BESTLIFE2030 interactive map - a living atlas of EU-funded biodiversity projects across these regions. Participants will experience a dynamic storytelling journey, moving from data layers to field-level action, and learn how these efforts are contributing to ecological connectivity, resilience, and the IUCN Green List of Protected and Conserved Areas.
