This high-level panel brings together Chairs from the UAE Global Councils on four interconnected Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to explore synergies, challenges, and opportunities in implementing integrated solutions for sustainability. As climate change, biodiversity loss, and environmental degradation intensify, the session highlights the need for coordinated action across freshwater, marine, terrestrial, and climate systems. Panelists will showcase how the UAE Global SDG Council model enables innovative, cross-sectoral governance and fosters collaboration among diverse stakeholders. The discussion will emphasize actionable pathways to harmonize nature conservation with human development, offering insights into effective strategies for scaling up resilient and inclusive conservation efforts.
